Help Decorate a Tournament of Roses Parade Float

Do you watch the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade on New Years Day?  Do you wonder how they decorate all those floats with roses?  If you are a member of the American Rose Society you can join other members of the Rocky Mountain District and help decorate a float and attend the judging.  We have been invited to help the City of Torrance Rose Float Association decorate their 2018 float entitled ‘Protecting Nature…The Madrona Marsh Preserve’.  See an artist rendering of the float at  You are also invited to have New Year’s Eve dinner at the home of one of the local ARS members and watch the parade live.

If you are interested in joining the fun, contact Georgie Bever at or leave a message at 719-337-3767.
